Coelho Simão is a beloved children’s stage production in Portugal, known for its engaging storytelling and strong audience connection. The production team required a full-length audiovisual recording of the performance for internal use, archiving, and future viewing by creative and institutional stakeholders.
The key challenge was to document the performance in its entirety without disrupting the live experience, while ensuring technical quality and consistency throughout the recording.
OFF-SUIT, through its production unit Studio21, was tasked with delivering a comprehensive multi-camera video recording of the live performance. The filming involved a combination of strategically placed static cameras and mobile units operated by a technical crew in real time. This approach allowed for complete coverage of stage action, character interactions, and scenic transitions.
The shoot was executed with minimal visibility to the audience and full respect for the artistic environment of the performance.
